Fabric snow chains serve as a fully-fledged alternative to traditional snow chains, both in terms of functionality and legal requirements.

Fabric chains are a simple tyre cover made from a special fabric that significantly improves tyre grip on snow and ice.

Textile snow chains comply with standard EN16662-1:2020. This means that you can use these snow chains in all EU countries as a fully-fledged replacement for traditional snow chains.

The exception is Austria, where the chains may only be used as a recovery aid.

Legally speaking, textile snow chains can be used wherever traffic signs require them.

Fitting and removing textile snow chains is very simple and quick.

Fitting snow chains is very quick and easy, and involves the following steps.

• Remove the snow chains from the packaging.
• Wear protective gloves (included in the pack).
• Place the fabric chain over the top of the tyres and pull it down as far as possible towards the ground.
• Move the car forward so that the fitted section reaches the bottom of the wheel, then fit the rest of the wheel.

• Maximum speed: 40 km/h.
• Driving on partially snow-covered or dry roads significantly reduces the service life of textile chains.
• They do not cause noise or vibrations like traditional snow chains.
• Fitting gloves are included in the pack.
• Excellent value for money
