Mortar and pestle,㺐 cm in diameter, 9.5 cm high, made of HR® ceramic, Emile Henry brand Ideal for crushing garlic or various spices. Sturdy and with perfect stability, the new Emile Henry mortar no longer requires keeping it in position. Moreover, the ergonomic shape of the pestle makes it easier to grind and crush ingredients. The inside of the mortar, as well as the end of the pestle are slightly rough to catch the ingredients and crush them easily against the wall. The pestle is made of ceramic, has semi-rounded edges and a handle made of birch wood. The HR® ceramic (High Resistance) developed in the Emile Henry laboratories withstands temperatures ranging between -20ºC and +270°C and can be placed in the microwave, oven or freezer. The enamel used for finishing protects the mortar from scratches and chipping (you can cut directly into the bowl without scratching the product) making it safe for dishwasher.
