Střešní box ArtPlast Linea (480l)

The ArtPlast Linea roof box has a capacity of 400 litres and is fitted with mechanical struts with a locking mechanism for convenient one-handed opening.

The box is secured by a three-point lock with a pull rod, which is operated by a lever rather than a key. This means the key is not subjected to stress and there is no risk of it breaking

The box is secured to the roof racks using a U-profile and wing nuts.

The roof box is black in colour. The surface has a matt finish with a carbon-fibre look.

The carbon-fibre look is not achieved by a film or surface treatment, but by the internal structure of the mould.

Almost all roof boxes on the market are manufactured using the ABS moulding process. In contrast, ArtPlast Linea roof boxes are made from polypropylene using the injection moulding process.

Thanks to this different manufacturing method and material, ArtPlast roof boxes are extremely strong and durable. Unlike ABS-moulded roof boxes, they have a very thick base and a double-layered lid, which is also reinforced with ribs. 

The box lid is sturdy, stable and does not warp, unlike those made from ABS plastic.

Manufacturers of roof boxes do not usually specify how far the box protrudes beyond the rear and front crossbars.

For some customers, this information may be important, whether to ensure the fifth door of the boot can be opened fully or to check that the box does not protrude too far at the front.
