Warning flag for marking protruding cargo

A red warning flag is required to mark protruding loads.

The dimensions of the red flag are 30 x 30 cm.

The flag comes with a 95 cm fixing cord.

Under Section 52(3) of Act No. 361/2000 Coll. on Road Traffic and on Amendments to Certain Acts (the Road Traffic Act), any load protruding from the vehicle must be marked with a red flag. The warning flag must measure at least 30 x 30 cm.

The Act states that...

If the load protrudes from the front or rear of a vehicle by more than 1 m, or if the load protrudes from the side of a motor vehicle or vehicle combination beyond the outer edge of the clearance lights by more than 400 mm, and in the case of a non-motor vehicle beyond its edge by more than 400 mm, the protruding end of the load must be marked with a red flag..
