Car refrigerator with compressor Indel B TB45HTAC (39l, hybrid cooling)

The Indel B TB45A compressor fridge has a capacity of 39 litres. It is an affordable, simple and reliable portable fridge. The car fridge can be powered via a car cigarette lighter socket (12V) or a standard mains socket (230V). Cables for both power options are included in the pack.

This is a car fridge with hybrid cooling. This means that when powered from a standard 230V socket, cooling is provided by a compressor. When powered from a 12V car cigarette lighter socket, cooling is provided by a Peltier element. Peltier element cooling is used in thermoelectric fridges. This method of cooling is not as efficient as compressor cooling, but it is more energy-efficient. With this method, the temperature inside the car fridge depends on the ambient temperature and can only be x degrees lower than the ambient temperature (usually 10–15°C).  

Inside, there is a single cooling compartment that is not divided in any way. A key advantage is the extra-thick polyurethane insulation.

As cooling via the 12V car cigarette lighter socket is provided by a Peltier element, which is not as energy-intensive as a compressor, the car fridge does not have undervoltage protection

The temperature can be set between +10 and -10°C using a mechanical rotary thermostat (applies only to 230V mains power supply)
