The Northline Element roof box catches the eye at first glance with its attractive aerodynamic shape and sporty look. It is currently the lowest-profile roof box on the market! Its height from the roof rails is just 25 cm. This allows tall SUVs in particular to drive into garages and multi-storey car parks without any problems.
Thanks to its low height, it has minimal air resistance. This not only results in low noise levels but also makes the Northline Element roof box an ideal choice for use on electric cars, which are highly sensitive to any increase in air resistance and suffer a reduction in range as a result.
Northline Element roof boxes are made from 5mm-thick, laminated ABS plastic manufactured in Austria. The box shell consists of three layers: 2mm ABS plastic, 2mm PMMA (plexiglass) + 1mm polycarbonate. The front and bottom sections are reinforced with steel strip.
The roof box has a capacity of 320 litres and measures 200 cm x 90 cm x 25 cm. You can therefore easily transport 7 pairs of skis or 5 snowboards in the box. The maximum length of the skis is 190 cm.
It naturally features double-sided opening and central locking.
To secure the box to the car roof, it is fitted with a quick-release system featuring a torque-limiting mechanism.
PLEASE NOTE! The Northline Element roof box can only be fitted to roof bars fitted with a T-slot.

Manufacturers of roof boxes do not usually specify how far the box protrudes beyond the rear and front crossbars.
For some customers, this information may be important, whether to ensure the fifth door of the boot can be opened fully or to check that the box does not protrude too far at the front.
