Metabond DPFCC DPF Filter Cleaner (250ml)

The cleaning and regeneration additive for particulate filters is an organometallic-based diesel fuel additive used as a catalyst for the regeneration of particulate filters. It lowers the ignition temperature of the soot accumulated in the particulate filter and optimises the regular combustion of the accumulated soot. This process is known as filter regeneration .
The unique combination of a clean fuel system, clean combustion with lower emissions and catalysed soot particles helps to keep the particulate filter unit, the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system, the turbocharger and its variable geometry clean and free of deposits. Regeneration at a lower temperature also prevents sudden heating of the engine oil and premature wear, thus preventing premature engine wear.

• Reduces particulate emissions, thereby helping to meet strict legal regulations and limits on harmful emissions
• The use of additive-based regeneration of particulate filters is 5–10 times faster and more complete
• No secondary emissions

Before refuelling, pour the entire contents of the bottle into the fuel tank. We recommend using it continuously, at least every fifth refuelling. Once the additive has been added, drive for at least 30–50 km before refuelling again.

Do not use when running on pure biodiesel. When mixing mineral and biodiesel fuel, it may only be used if the proportion of biodiesel does not exceed 10%. 

One pack treats 40–60 litres of diesel fuel. Suitable for use in conjunction with the Metabond Megasel additive.
