Engine Sealant (250ml)

A product designed to seal micro-cracks in cylinder heads, engine blocks and water pump housings. It can also treat leaks caused by damaged engine and cooling system seals.

It eliminates external cracks and fissures that result in coolant leaks and the formation of puddles under the vehicle.

It also eliminates internal system leaks, which manifest as the mixing of oil and coolant or coolant and gases, leading to engine overheating and loss of compression, or the formation of air bubbles in the expansion tank and white-coloured exhaust fumes.

One pack treats engines with a coolant system capacity of up to 8 litres. The concentration of the product must be between 3 and 6% of the coolant system’s capacity. 

Shake the product well before use. Always add it directly to the coolant system via the radiator. Do not expose the vehicle to temperatures below 0°C during repairs.

• 1) Drain all coolant from the cold engine and rinse thoroughly with clean water.
• 2) Disconnect the hose with the thermostat from the upper outlet on the cylinder head, pour the required amount of the product into the opening and refit the hose.
• 3) Fill the cooling system with clean water.
• 4) Fill any larger, visible external cracks with steel wool.
• 5) Start the engine and let it idle until the leak stops (usually within 15 minutes to 2 hours). Top up the radiator with clean water as needed. 
• 6) After the repair, allow the engine to cool down, drain the cooling system and flush it with plenty of water until the water runs clear. Then fill the system with antifreeze / coolant.
