The Varta Professional SLI series of light-duty traction batteries can be used as starter batteries for vehicles without a Start-Stop system. They offer greater cycle resistance and tolerate under-voltage better than the Dynamic SLI series of car batteries. As a result, they have a longer service life and are also suitable for vehicles where, in addition to starting the engine, they power external electronic devices.

In terms of performance and service life, they are on a par with original equipment batteries.

They utilise patented PowerFrame® technology (a specific internal grid arrangement), which extends the battery’s service life and provides sufficient power for cold starts. Compared to standard conventional car batteries, the Professional SLI series offers a longer service life.
