"The longer they were in the maze, the longer they could stay in their own world, the one they had created in between the hedges."Oliver Catesby is a painter who doesn&apost paint. Instead, in the years since his grandfather&aposs passing, he&aposs used every ounce of his money and energy to ensure that his beloved family estate doesn&apost fall into ruin. Running out of options, he turns to Emerson Enterprises for help. What he doesn&apost know is that asking for help would lead him down a path to reuniting with the boy he fell in love with at fifteen. Jesse Alvarez regrets the day he made a deal to work at the family company. Stuck in a passionless job appraising trinkets for the fallen English aristocracy, he feels lost until he&aposs called into a meeting and sees Chapman House illuminated on the conference room screen. Emboldened by memories of their time together within a centuries-old hedge maze, Jesse will do anything to help Oliver. If that includes making him fall in love with Jesse all over again, well, that&aposs just a bonus. Beyond the Hedge Maze is a queer, open door, second chance romance, that explores how life and love can be altered by grief. Filled with found family, beautiful scenery, watchful muses, and the memory of an overzealous ancestor, Beyond the Hedge Maze will leave you laughing, crying, and rooting for two childhood sweethearts to find their happiness together.
