The Nike Pegasus 42 is a modern men's road running
shoe, designed for daily training sessions that combines comfort,
dynamism, and reliability. For decades, the Pegasus series has been one of
Nike's most popular running models and stands for a balanced mix of cushioning,
responsiveness, and stability. This generation has also been further developed
to offer runners an even more efficient and comfortable running experience. At
the heart of the performance is the full-length Air Zoom
element, which extends from the heel to the forefoot. This
construction ensures a particularly dynamic running feel and a high energy
return with every step. As a result, the shoe feels springy and responsive,
which is especially noticeable during daily runs on asphalt. This system is
complemented by the innovative ReactX midsole, which delivers
about 13% more energy return than the previous React
technology. The breathable mesh upper has been redesigned and
is lighter, softer, and more breathable than in previous versions. This creates
a comfortable foot climate even on longer runs. At the same time, the fit has
been optimized, providing more space in the forefoot and toe area. The
redesigned outsole with abrasion-resistant rubber and classic waffle
pattern provides reliable traction and allows for flexible movement on
