Rooted in the Arbatel de Magia Veterum (1575), this compact, student-focused manual teaches devotional, non-demonic planetary magic designed for today's practitioner. What this book teachesThe function and contemporary significance of each Olympic Spirit - Aratron, Bethor, Phaleg, Och, Hagith, Ophiel, and Phul - including their sigils (characters), correct planetary day and hour for effective work.Clear, reusable invocation scripts in modern language, with optional traditional phrasing, for practical aims such as career, protection, creativity, health, learning, finances, and emotional healing.Dismissal and discharge procedures: step-by-step guidance on respectfully closing a working, removing attachments, and restoring ordinary consciousness.Precautions and ethical safeguards: moral framework from the Arbatel, practical boundaries, mental-health considerations, legal/ethical guidance, and technical safety (including privacy and digital security for sensitive work). Why this guide is differentFaithful to the Arbatel's spirit: emphasizes piety, humility, and service rather than coercion or sensationalism. It targets Christian-aligned practitioners, students of magical traditions wishing to deepen their understanding of the Arbatel, and solitary students exploring ethical practice.Practical and modern: translates Renaissance claims into contemporary goals - networking instead of instant riches, mentorship and access to clinical knowledge instead of miraculous cures, and scalable creative success instead of raw gold-making.Safety-first approach: detailed dismissal protocols and real-world recommendations ensure responsible practice.Who should read itBeginners seeking a safe, ethical introduction to planetary and angelic evocation.Experienced ritual magicians looking for a lighter, devotionally oriented alternative to grimoires focused on coercion.Spiritual seekers and scholars who want the Arbatel's wisdom applied to modern life without sensationalism.Practical outcomes you can expectConfident ability to perform simple Arbatel invocations.Ready-to-use petitions for Phul and other spirits, tailored to contemporary goals such as career, creativity, healing, and clarity.Clear dismissal routines in both Latin and English.Responsible practice & disclaimersAll operations are presented as devotional, educational, and prayer-aligned practices. This book is not a substitute for medical, legal, or psychiatric care - licensed professionals should be consulted where appropriate. Following the Arbatel, all power comes from God, and practitioners are encouraged to work with humility, charity, and ethical accountability.Begin your Arbatel practice with confidence: learn to invoke, receive guidance, and dismiss - with reverence, clarity, and contemporary usefulness.
