Featuring an elegant design and made of wood with a matte finish, the grinders in the Tahiti range have a distinctive feature: you can easily tell them apart from a distance because the salt and peppercorn grinders are different colors. The top knob on each grinder is used to adjust the grind size: the tighter it is screwed, the finer the texture. The Tahiti salt and peppercorn grinder set will complement any contemporary kitchen, with a classic design that transcends interior design trends. For the salt grinder, the Zirlion mechanism made of zirconium, an innovation from Peugeot, produces an extremely fine salt powder, delivering the full taste experience of salt while limiting the quantity used. For the peppercorn grinder, the mechanism is equipped with two rows of spiral-shaped steel teeth that hold and guide the peppercorns for perfect grinding. What type of salt is recommended? For best results, dry salt with crystals no larger than 6 mm in diameter is recommended, such as rock salt or coarse salt mined from salt deposits. Do not use salt grinders for grinding peppercorn or sea salt, as its moisture may corrode the mechanism. What type of peppercorn is recommended? Dry, hard black, white, or green peppercorns with a maximum diameter of approximately 5 mm are recommended. Pink peppercorns may only be used in a blend (maximum 15% pink peppercorn) together with one of the previously mentioned peppercorn types. Dried coriander seeds may also be used in Peugeot peppercorn grinders. Height: 15 cm The grinders may contain salt and peppercorn for demonstration purposes and must be emptied before use.
