Giro Comp Snow Goggles The groundbreaking, frameless design of the top-of-the-line Comp model makes it easier than ever to adapt to weather and light conditions in a flash. Self-centering magnets in the lens and frame enable quick lens changes. An automatic lock holds the lens securely in the frame, even in the event of a fall. The extra-large field of vision, thanks to EXV+ technology and lenses from premium manufacturer ZEISS, guarantees the best visibility. The Comp is equipped with two ZEISS lenses (one for sunny conditions, one for less favorable weather conditions) and a protective case for the goggles and the spare lens. TECHNOLOGY EVAK VENT TECHNOLOGY EVAK Vent Technology, found exclusively in all premium Giro goggles, uses a foam made from an ultra-robust, non-water-absorbent material. EVAK vents minimize the risk of fogging due to moisture while forming a barrier against snow and water. TORIC VIVID LENSES WITH OPTICS BY ZEISS® The toric shape of this injection-molded lens mimics the shape of the human eye to provide superior optics while creating a larger air volume inside the goggle to prevent fogging. The manufacturing, testing, and quality control of all Giro toric lenses is carried out by ZEISS® Optics and is subject to the highest standards. VIVID TECHNOLOGY WITH OPTICS BY ZEISS® VIVID is a patented lens technology developed by Giro in collaboration with ZEISS® Optics that improves on-snow vision by enhancing contrast and sharpness. VIVID reduces eye fatigue, improves reaction time, strengthens riding confidence, and delivers precise vision without color saturation. VIVID Lens Technology effectively manipulates blue light by transmitting contrast-enhancing blue light while blocking harmful UV light. VIVID filters out haze and allows your eyes to better see the trail, allowing you to focus on the fun of riding. QUICK CHANGE LENS SYSTEM Easy and lightning-fast lens swapping when visibility changes. Self-aligning magnets in the center and snap-on pins on the sides securely lock the lens in place. SEAMLESS COMPATIBILITY For a perfect helmet-goggle match, Giro products are designed to provide a seamless interface between helmet and goggle for exceptional fit and reliable function. EXV+ (EXPANSION VIEW) UNRIVALED PERIPHERAL VISION A wide field of vision is essential. Whether another rider appears on the right or an untracked patch of powder appears on the left, peripheral vision allows you to avoid hazards and quickly detect changing piste conditions. During our testing and analysis, the Giro product design team found that the two most important factors for a wide peripheral field of vision are the shape of the lens and the frame—not the size of the goggle. When developing EXV+ (and EXV), Giro therefore created two features for the widest field of vision on the mountain: 1. Proprietary, hemispherical lens with precise curvature to optimize the field of view. 2. Low-profile frame that keeps the sides of the lens close to your face. Our EXV+ technology, which is used in the models, combines these features to let you see more of the mountain than ever before. The result: more fun and greater awareness of risks.
