It helps keep meals fresh up to 5 times longer than regular containers. The container, made of BPA-free plastic, has an ABS lid, a double seal, and a silicon vacuum valve. It also includes a plastic divider, allowing for two different servings. The lunch box is microwave-safe (without the vacuum seal) and dishwasher-safe. With the "Fresh & Save" system, you can refrigerate or freeze various fresh foods, including fruits, vegetables, pasta, rice, or other dishes, preserving their freshness and nutrients. How the vacuum process works Attach the vacuum pump to the container's valve, then by simply pressing a button, remove the air in a few seconds. The pump stops automatically when sufficient negative pressure is applied, preserving flavours and vitamins. Keeping track of frozen foods To avoid forgetting about stored food in the fridge or freezer, easily register them in the ZWILLING Culinary World app: scan the QR code before storing the container and receive timely notifications when it's time to consume the food. The free app determines the shelf life of food and vacuum-sealed containers, providing timely notifications when it's time to consume the food.
