The set includes:- 1 cooking pot, 24 cm diameter, 14 cm height, 4.5 L capacity- 1 aluminium sieve, 24 cm diameter- 1 aluminium lid with thermometer, 20 cm diameter.
This set represents the latest kitchen innovation for preparing healthy meals richer in nutrients with a crispy texture. Food is cooked slowly using natural condensation, preserving up to 90% of vitamins and minerals. The process requires very little or no water.
The set is suitable for cooking vegetables, fish, or meat. To monitor the cooking temperature, the lid is equipped with a thermometer. The thermometer helps maintain the temperature between 80-90°C, ensuring even cooking and optimal moisture retention.
All AMT Gastroguss products are handcrafted from cast aluminium by skilled artisans. Advantages of hand-cast aluminium include longer curing time to reduce material stress, uniform casting, and fewer air pockets compared to machine casting.
AMT Gastroguss cookware features a very thick base of up to 9 mm. This stores more energy and resists overheating. AMT Gastroguss cookware is also known for a base that does not deform over time, even under extreme temperature changes.
The aluminium base of Gastroguss products is first sandblasted to increase the adhesion surface of subsequent layers by 12 times. The first layer applied is titanium oxide, fired at 20.000°C, almost as hard as diamond. The subsequent layers are: anti-corrosion layer, middle layer with ceramic particles, and the surface non-stick layer called Lotan®.
This Lotan® non-stick coating is exclusive to AMT Gastroguss cookware. In addition to its non-stick properties that ease cleaning, it also has antibacterial effects.
The Lotan® coating offers all the benefits of a classic non-stick layer without containing PFOA.
Gastroguss handles withstand temperatures up to 240°C.
Dishwasher safe and suitable for all hobs, including induction hobs.
