Thanks to the proven tapered directional shape with good float and edge hold, you can shred the most difficult terrain and deep powder with incredible precision. Take your riding to the next level with the Jones Flagship.Riding styleA freeride board for advanced riders. The shape, design, profile and construction have been specially developed for the best backcountry performance. It offers plenty of float in deep powder and reliable performance and stability in challenging terrain.ShapeWith the Tapered Directional shape the nose is slightly wider than the tail. The bindings are slightly offset to the back (setback). This increases the stability at higher speeds and the uplift in powder. Traction Tech 3.0, the corrugated edge, ensures the best edge hold in all conditions.ProfileThe directional rocker profile consists of a camber between the bindings, a large rocker area in the nose and a slightly smaller rocker in the tail. This keeps the board extremely manoeuvrable in pow and gives it enormous uplift. The camber offers you good edge hold and fast power transmission. Just like the shape of a spoon, the 3D Contour Base 3.0 lifts the contact points off the snow to prevent catching edge and increase float in soft snow. The 3.0 version has a 7 mm bend in the nose and a 0 to 7 mm bend in the tail. The spoon-shaped bevel starts at the rocker point.FlexThe medium-stiff flex ensures precise control and fast board response.ConstructionThe triple-density Power Core comes with hardwood bamboo stringers for added pop and durability, and paulownia for weight savings. The basalt stringers help to transfer power to the edges, improve the torsional behaviour and additionally dampen the board. The Carbon/Innegra fibres form an ultra-strong hybrid composite layer that dampens the board in torsion and from tip to tail. The thin ash veneer layer acts both as a protective top layer and as an additional reinforcing layer.
