Airways Xtra Strength 500g

Airways horse supplement to aid upper respiratory health and promote clear breathing

Airways horse supplement should be added to the feed daily for horses stabled for long periods, or those experiencing irritation from dust in bedding and hay.

Stabled horses are subjected to a constant respiratory challenge from fungal spores and dust in their immediate environment, which can affect their respiratory health and function.

Targeted nutritional support can help support the horse’s natural defence against such challenges, and Airways® Xtra Strength Powder contains a powerful blend of natural, plant-derived essential oils, known for their role in maintaining respiratory function.

Eucalyptus oil is well known for its ability to help clear the respiratory tract of a build-up of mucus caused by constant exposure to dust and spores.
Peppermint oil and its active ingredient menthol have been used in humans and animals for centuries to help open the airways, and clear excess mucus.

Many of the compounds found in peppermint oil will provide nutritional support to help the horse’s own respiratory defences.

With its powerful aroma, Airways horse supplement opens the airways and eases breathing.

When should you feed Airways® Xtra Strength Powder?

Feed during the summer to horses/ ponies sensitive to pollen and dust in the air or arenas.
Feed during the winter to horses/ ponies being stabled for long periods of time, exposing them to dust and spores.

How does it work?

Airways horse supplement contains essences of oils associated with clearing and opening the airways. The mentol and vapours will not only dilate the airways but soothe low level irritation and encourage deep breathing. Airways® Xtra Strength Powder will encourage a break down of nasal mucus and leave airways clear and the horse/ pony more willing to work.
