Battery frip MB-D18 je združljiv z Nikon D850 in omogoča tako boljši oprijem v vertikalni legi, kot podaljšan čas avtonomije baterije - vanj lahko vstavite eno EN-EL15 ali 6 AA baterij (battery holder priložen). Če v grip vstavite baterijo EN-EL18 (v tem primeru potrebujete še dodatni pokrov baterije BL-5) je avtonomija delovanja še večja, višja je tudi hitrost zaporednega fotografiranja: 9 fps.
