Fenix BC15R

The Fenix BC15R rechargeable bikelight delivers up to 400 lumens (ANSI) with a throw of up to 78 meters. Power is supplied by a built-in 2600 mAh Li-ion battery that charges via a USB-C connector directly in the flashlight. The light source is a modern Luminus SST-20 diode. The bikelight uses a specially shaped reflector that directs light only forward and to the sides, not upwards. The light cone is therefore sharply cut off from above and does not dazzle other drivers and pedestrians. The Fenix BC15R bike light is therefore particularly suitable for use on roads and cycle paths.

The design of the holder allows for quick mounting and removal of the light from the handlebars without tools, and the holder also allows for quick removal of the light so it can be used as a powerful handheld flashlight. The holder can also be used on aero shaped handlebars - the rubber sleeve adapts.

Using the Fenix BC15R bikelight

To turn on or off, hold the button on the flashlight for about 0.5 seconds. The power modes can be switched at any time during operation with a short press of the button (cycling through in the order low - medium - high). Flashing can be activated with two quick button presses. Another press returns the flashlight to the previous mode.

Battery capacity indication in button - with the flashlight off, press the button once briefly, then the indication LED (in the button) lights up for three seconds to indicate the battery charge status: Constant green: 100-85% capacity. Flashing green: 85-50% capacity. Constant red: 50-25% capacity. Flashing red: below 25% battery capacity.

Low battery warning - if the battery capacity drops below the set level, the flashlight will automatically switch to lower power modes to ensure the longest battery life (the flashlight cannot be switched to higher modes afterwards). If the battery is critically low, the indicator LED in the button will flash red. In such a case, we recommend charging the flashlight as soon as possible to prevent the protective electronics built into the battery from switching off and thus turning off the light.

Charging

Loosen the rubber cap of the USB-C connector on the bottom of the flashlight and plug it into a computer, mains USB adapter or USB car adapter with the included USB cable turned off. Alternatively, any mobile phone charger with a USB-C connector can be used for charging.
During charging, the indicator LED glows red and switches to green when fully charged.
Charging time is about 2 hours. The Li-ion battery used does not suffer from memory effect, so the flashlight can be recharged at any time.
During charging, the flashlight can be used in emergency, only the low 50 lumen mode is available. However, the charging time will be extended.
After charging and removing the power cable, be sure to seal the USB-C connector cap.

Warning

Do not disassemble the sealed parts in the head of the flashlight yourself, it will violate the warranty.
If the flashlight flashes or does not light up, then it means the battery is dead. Charge it.
